He missed the best tourist attraction in the whole city, Nando’s just outside of the train station. Would recommend 11/10

My Grandfather was born and raised in Bath before coming over to Canada in a boat in 1922 at the age of 17 all by himself. It really great to see the City/Town where he grew up!!!! Thanks!!!!

I was just in England (first time) in Sept. Your videos were helpful for trip planning. We went to Rutland County and London. I can't wait to go back to see Bath. I totally fell in love with England!

Salisbury cathedral is an international destination, a few Russians recently made the trip to 'see the world famous cathedral' 😂

Ah, the city I grew up in (I live in London now). I miss Bath loads. I think it's probably the most beautiful city in the UK. A lot of UK places have some lovely areas, but Bath is consistently beautiful for almost all of it.

One thing you didn't mention is that Bath is very hilly. If you're driving, make sure you're good at those hill-starts (some of those streets are 3:1).

A very nice (and free) place to go in Bath is Alexandra Park at Beechen Cliff. It has amazing views all over the city.

Finally, a video about a British city that isn't London! Please do the North of England, that's another cheap place! Plenty of big cities within close proximity to each other and Manchester is the ideal place to stay - so many things to see and do within the city itself AND you're spoilt for choice for day trips: Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Lancaster, Blackpool, Chester, North Wales, Lake District, Peak District and many other destinations are all within close proximity to Manchester!

I did a semester abroad at the University of Bath and I absolutely loved it. As you said, the city has such a cool vibe and there is something for everyone!! I miss going for runs on those trails, much more exciting than my runs at home. Loved seeing this video 💕

This guy is so cheery, enthusiastic and positive. It'd be infectious if it wasn't for my English default setting of misery, dread and pessimism.

We’re going to Bristol, Bath, Wales, and London in December. Visiting with friends that live in Bristol, so we don’t have to drive! 😂
Can’t wait to see Bath at Christmas time.

If you are back sometime or for others... Bath has lots of Summer festivals, a really big Childrens literary festival with big names of childrens books, this year, David Walliams, Katherine Rundell and the rest. Plus a fringe festival for comedy and theatre. Great river swimming within 5 mins drive too and don't forget luminous crazy golf a Christmas in the main park. Also, a farmers market at old green park station is worth a look.

It feels weird seeing foreigners in places that not even I have been to in my own country. Enjoy man.

Bath is truly a wonderful city. One of the most beautiful in Europe I'd say.

I was born in Bath and lived there until I was 24 (when I moved to London for work), I absolutely love the city and still regularly go home to see family and friends. Usually get the train and stay in an apartment in the centre as it’s so compact and convenient. Would also like to mention the rugby club in the heart of the city… whilst the stadium itself is outdated, it’s one of the most picturesque professional sporting venues (ie the views from the stands) in the world and the city is genuinely buzzing on match days.

You’ve also got Bristol (or Brizzle as the locals call it) which is only a 15 minute train away and Cardiff, albeit a bit further.

I grew up just outside Bath, it's a beautiful city with a nice vibe. If you get to Bath Rugby match I'd recommend it, the West Country is one of the few regions in England where Rugby is as popular as football (soccer).
