I’m a young carer for my mum who is invisibly disabled. I would love to see more inclusive books that accurately represent people that struggle with a wide variety of things. I find that most of the time, if a disabled person is in a book or film not much research has been done and it’s really disheartening. the disability isn’t the only issue, it affects their mental health and how they manage their life and their friends and family and their dreams. do you have any recommendations?
