That is EXACTLY how the walk through videos should look like, no talking, good picture and good explanation. Well done dude!

Thank you for posting this and other tutorials! That have been super helpful! Very simple and doesn’t have all the extra talking, straight and to the point.

Hi thanks for this video just question does it fit on the normal standard central console for golf mk5

I *think* you need to change the opening here, or at least put a disclaimer somewhere that the rear console has to be out first BEFORE the center console. I think that's the opposite of the opening of this vid. Its confusing.

Damn. I want to replace shifter bushings in my Golf 5, but I have the rear air conditioning tunnel installed. I started removing the center console but the AC tunnel to the rear vents still won't move, so logically the next step is remove the armrest and remove the tunnel beneath it. But this is an insane amount of work to just get to the screws on the shifter. Its over 40 screws in not so easy access locations, I'm this close to giving up and drive with worn bushings lol (gears shift but handle has too much freeplay, missing 1st gear etc.)

that is heck a lot of work just to replace the centre cup holder slider.. wow.

Hey dear, you're great. Let me ask a question please. I have another trim package in my mk5 Jetta and so my console is unlike this. Are the center console bases of different trim packages same? If i wanna switch my center console to this one on the video, does it fit and work?

Buna,
2 Intrebari:

a. Daca doresc sa inlocuiesc doar "imbracamintea" franei de mana, cum sa procedez? se poate doar trage afara ? Am vazut ca are sub ceva "clema"?
b. Daca doresc sa inlocuiesc doar cotiera (partea culisanta), sunt ceva suruburi dupa primii 4 pasi ? Daca da, ce mi-ar trebui pt a le desface?

Multumesc frumos :)
Horia
