Cycling Clothes, Helmets & Bike Bags at the Shanghai Bike Show 2021

You guys asked me to seek out cycling clothes, jerseys, and helmets at the Shanghai bike show - so that's what I did! There weren't actually that many on display. Lambda, CCN, and Santic were amongst the brands there. Being a mostly business-to-business trade show, and with most jersey brands being direct-to-consumer here in China; it wasn't a great prospect for most of the brands. Therefore, a follow-up video may be needed in the future - I'll get in touch with some brands and see who wants to send some jerseys over for review, but, regardless, there were some brands there, and maybe some good helmet options to choose from from PMT or Livall, etc.

I ride a lot of Monton and Soomon clothes and found them to be really good. Easily better than most mid-range western brands at half the cost.

@China Cycling Thanks for your great insights into the bike industry. I think cycling consumers are increasingly accepting of their gear coming from mainland China and Chinese brands, and want to know more about the production methods for the carbon fiber parts.

Can you help us understand more about this bike show? Would you say the booths are mostly Chinese/Taiwanese small manufacturers, and the attendees are representatives of western bike brands, both big and small, looking for their next OEM? Is that a good summary?

Was lucky to get some Lameda bibs, they are hard to get, but worth it. For the bad weather I use the cheaper stuff from X-Tiger, which works for me.
