I would love to see Hasbro do what they did with the old 30th anniversary collection R2 and include a super battle droid with oil flame effect that engulfs the figure.

Great set. Well worth the price and I want to see more sets like these and like the BoBF Luke. Either a few characters/droids or a bunch of accessories.

Such a fun video! I got this set preordered with a discount, so I'm pretty excited for it. I also don't have any Pit Droids, so that surely adds to the excitement as well!

The fact that the side panels are glued on with all of the astromechs we’ve gotten so far feels weirdly anti-consumer on Hasbro’s behaf…

I just received mine. One difference between this R5 and the previous release is that it doesn’t have (aside from the boosters) the removable head panel for the blown motivator.

Hello Luke it's been awhile but I'm glad you reviewed this set.
I've got the original R5-D4 and I have this set on pre-order at Target. I honestly don't mind having an extra R5-D4 I need one for the Jawas sell to Luke.
I have a couple of the BD droids so I don't mind another, but I don't have any PIT droids so I'm definitely looking forward to getting this set.
