The Institute for Expository Preaching

There is a great need for pastors and teachers to be better equipped and energized to preach the Word of God. We must be bold in our proclamation of Holy Scripture.

The Institute for Expository Preaching exists to help train and equip pastors, church leaders, Bible teachers, and those interested in the ministry to accurately exposit the Word of God. Held across the United States and around the world, these three-day seminars led by Steven Lawson provide in-depth instruction and practical tools in the discipline of expository preaching.

I'm no pastor, but I regularly teach at my church and sometimes am privileged to preach at chapel service at a homeless shelter in my city; I have listened to lessons from Dr. Lawson on YouTube from the Master's Seminary and from some videos on the OnePassion channel; I have learned much from Dr. Lawson just from those videos alone. I watched Dr. Lawson break down Psalm 1 in a lesson once and was blown away how much time and diligence into preparing to preach the Word. Expository preaching isn't always the norm in many Christian congregations today, but it should be. Thank God for raising up good preachers/teachers like Dr. Lawson, as well as faithful men that come to learn from his teaching and wisdom.

Superb these men who really want to be used by God to Preach Scripture as it should be are fortunate to have someone like Steve Lawson who is a first class preacher and teacher of God's word. Having listening to him many times re; Ligoneer and other conferences with RC Sproul, J MC Arthur, L Duncan, R Godfrey So many others and even my husband who has preached for 40 years as per the above mentioned men - Preaching the whole Council of God's word - All Glory to Our Great God & Saviour Jesus Christ

I like to watch Dr Steve J. Lawson video on teaching how to preach. The first time I saw him speaking at Reformed 21 tv channel at Jakarta. I know, he is the master in preaching as he said that he admit he cannot teach preaching to those who does not have talent to preach. Dr Steve J. Lawson, I proud of you, I wish I can have the chance to learn more from your teaching.
