The H is for headphone. NT is the end of Rode, ie Rodent. When the first products were being developed the statement was made this will take off like a rat up a drainpipe." thus Rode(nt).

I have the RODE NTH cans and love them. Wanted a close back as my other set is a BD DT990 Pro … open back. they have lovely sound but you get bled in and bleed out. The NTH are a very comfortable set but for the shape of my head… the BD are ever so slightly better. Still use the RODE for the most part…..

I own the NTH100s and they are good enough... but.... I am a bit worried how you so quickly dismissed the DT770s there. You said these were the most comfortable headphones you have ever worn but again you have some Beyers in the studio. Surprised you did not reveal your listening history before much of the praises. I find the Rodes to be decent value for money but the veiled and washy low end is not ideal. " without the need to switch to a far more suitable or fitting pair ".. I feel like your trying to sneak in some criticism there without voiding your contract ;)

IMO, NTH means:
"N"othing like "TH"ose. All reviews have been nothing but praises. They will cause a big splash in this market. Even audiophiles are impressed with them.

The ear pads are to small for a lot of ears and the sound is not made for music.
Only gaming and TV 🤢👎
