Cadillac Escalade review - 0-60mph, 1/4-mile & brake tested!

This might just be the largest car we’ve EVER reviewed… Introducing the Cadillac Escalade!

This humungous all-American import measures in at almost 6 metres long, and Mat’s about to take it through a full in-depth review to see if you should consider importing one! (At least, if you live out of the US, that is).

So what do you need to know? Well for starters, there are two engines to choose from, but there’s only one you need to really consider - the huge 6.2-litre V8! It’s a huge engine to fit a huge car, but sadly, the power output seemingly doesn't match up to the size... It only puts out 420hp & 623Nm!

But of course, if you’re considering a car this large, you’re probably more interested in the quality of the interior. And trust us, the Escalade doesn’t disappoint! Not only is it super roomy, but the dash and infotainment system all run pretty well and are dominated by huge screens.

In terms of price, for those of you in the US it’ll set you back from at least $70,000… But is it worth it? Stick with Mat for his latest in-depth review to find out!

The escalade is such a versatile car. It can be used by rappers, mafia, business executives, pimps, and even soccer moms.

British luxury cars: Elegant, refined, understated.
American luxury cars: Can fit your British car in the trunk!

4:25 the whole point of having no middle seat in the middle row is so that u can just walk to the third row instead of the hassle of pulling the chair up…

Matt's the sort of guy who can see tiny scratches on car interior but completely missed huge stains on his shorts

If you want Matt to like your car, make sure that it has nice climate controls.

I think that most of us in Europe don't have an idea how huge these things are. Imagine getting stuck with this in the streets of Amsterdam or Paris 🤣

I drive one of these for work. At first I hated it but it’s grown on me more than it should have and now I love driving it

“It’s alright this, ..it’s alright….”
The nicest thing Matt has ever said about an American car.

The turning circle is 39.7ft (12.1 meters) for the normal Escalade and 43.3ft (13.1 meters) for the ESV.

"Why need a cooler in your car?" Super handy for road trips. And general driving if you live in a southern state. I wish I had one
