The Dried Fruit you ate, ดอยคำ (Doi Kham) is a rural farm development project of King Bhumibol. The Doi Kham Royal Project was begun when King visited Chiang Mai (the province in the north of Thailand) In the hilly northern region, farming was of the slash and burn variety and was causing the forests to be reduced to ashes. Also, the number of people growing opium poppies was increasing. At the king's command, the royal project was created to provide alternative sources of income for hill-tribe villages that formerly relied on opium production and slash and burn farming. All of products of the Doi Kham Company are produced by the royal project. (Cr. wikipedia) King Bhumibol startes many projects morethan 1, 000 to help Thai people have a good quality of life.

You guys are so cute together!
And thank you so much for making this Thai snack tasting series!
I really enjoyed it!
It would be cool to see you taste Japanese snacks that you haven't tried before!
As for the tea, my boyfriend from Finland loves the Thai tea as well. But I always prefer Japanese tea without milk or sugar. So it would be nice to see if you do a video on Japanese tea, especially green tea. I'm a BIG FAN!

The snacks look so great! I am also excited, because I correctly guessed that the one box of Pretz were Larb flavored when you posted the photo on Instagram recently. Woo hoo! I had never seen them before, and I can't read Thai, so I was just trying to make my best guess. Yay! Have a great weekend, and say hi to Justin (woof!). :-)

Let me give you a tip 'bout that fish snack, Taro. Put the stripes on a plate but leave the centre empty (to prevent it from overcooking) and put it in microwave for 30 secs - 1 min. It'll come out crispy, goes well with beer, haha! Cheers!!

What a fabulous Thai food haul! The dried mango looked really tasty. I love having it with a little chili powder for a slight kick.

My condolences to the people of Thailand. You are in our thoughts.

I loved this video. It definitely made me smile. I usually don't put milk or sugar in my tea unless I'm having a boba drink. 😄

The pharmaceutical looking bags is milk tablet from royal family factory. They actually didn't produce enough to ship all over the country.I'm really sad that I cannot find it in convenient store in my region D:
Numbers on the bag you mention is certification number to confirm things in the package are safe to eat. They will be in the same looking frame. And, You can find it pretty much on every package the guy sent you.

That milk tablet thing is one of the thousands of brilliant projects by the King's idea, which created jobs for people in Thailand, and transforms our resources into better products so they sell better. So now you know why the bag looks so official that it made you think it might be medicine when you saw it the first time. *The numbers on the bag is the Thai FDA registration number, so you know it's safe to consume.

May His Majesty rests in peace, he truly was the developer King.
