Revit 2021 - What's new?

Everybody be losing their minds over sloped walls and I just be there like - did you know we can link images now? I break down all the new architecturally related features in Revit 2021, and demonstrate how you can make proper use of them. We look into Dynamo 2.5 partway in as well.

I'm new to this whole area. Question...does Revit offer random attributes in generative design? Example -- a CG bathroom master with say 20 random designs from flooring to wall materials and colour and lighting options. Thanks!

Aussie BIM guru, is there a way to remove the section line?
We always have to break the line, is there a way for a tiny line to be incoporated in the section head and tail so we can avoid splitting the section line all the time?

It appears that they have developed everything other than (again) MEP. Lets wait for revit 2100, new and improved engineering for the southern hemisphere.

I find the enable filter on and off is pretty redundant. You can simply click the visibility check or uncheck and it will turn off or on the filter. Why have both now?

It is absurd that all focus on YouTube’s videos is on modeling, because it's very complicated and silly in Revit, while the primary meaning of the program is BIM.
Every architect uses 3d software such as 3ds max ...etc.
why people in Revit try to invent a new way of modeling.
just copy 3ds max or Maya or modeling mentality and integrated into Revit.
then please concentrate on the use of Revit for interior design specs such as custom-made feature walls shop drawings, joinery,
reception without tweaks and tricks
make the software useful for real-life not only for concrete and ducts...

What is happening whith the local network collaboration? Is it only cloud based worksharing in this version?

its usually another 6 months before you would even look at using it. and then its another 2 years before architects would have upgraded. they need to make the tools a patch for previous years.

At last slanted wall come in Revit. In 12 years...It was long time.

With every new release, I instantly go looking to see if they have improved family creation tools by adding geometric constraints like every other cad platform. Maybe just wishful thinking.

It's just me only who have trouble with generative design. It's still analyzing over 1 think it's not that useful, but I would check out how it works. I don't understand the analysis logic. Even though I can trust it, I don't think it will affect my design criteria at all

In previous versions of Revit I use Ctrl+ Ctrl- to zoo in/out a schedule
