I think JT stands for “Just Thankful”

When he says “and I don’t mean John Travolta” he is referring to the fact that the song title is JT,
This song is about how he’s happy and so grateful for his lifestyle and that he gets to do what he loves every day

The perfect example of how artists can express their faith in their music and not be ashamed of it, but not be cheesy or cliche. There's so much artistic quality here that it glorifies God and it's so amazing, damn.
