Bought 5.1.4 from costco for $499 last week. Use them with Onkyo TXNR7100. Pretty good for my first home theater. I am happy. Been using atmos soundbar forever...

So after watching your review on the reference cinema 5.1.4 and getting that and an extra sub. Not even a month later I’ve ended up finding a great deal on two R-625FA’s and an RP-504c. So I’m re-doing my entire front section here in a few days lol. Cheers sir, glad I found your channel!

Any recommendations for an old apartment where subwoofers are NOT allowed? (And no, moving is not an option.) You mentioned the tower system rattled the walls... at what sort of volume? I'd really like to be immersive with surrounds, but can sacrifice some of the bottom end. Thanks.

Great Video. what would you recommend for 2.5 - 2.8 range. currently got bose cinemate series II. Considering R-820F 5.1 WITH R-52C system or mixing up a few rps. Have high ceiling in living rom so atmos or too many side speakers is tough positioning, can stick with good 5.1 or 5.2. Thank You.

What receiver would you choose the power the tower system

Hey so I have a question I bought the 5.1.4 speaker set im new to atmos. So the only receiver at costco says atmos is a Denon AVR s760H, it says 7.2 channel so would that only be capable of 5.1.2, so two of those satellite speakers wouldn't be able to use the top firing speaker? Unlike the more expensive ones that say "height" and have 4 of them, this one only says surround back L and R. So is it actually atmos or in software it would use those two surround back as height? What is the best receiver under a thousand that would support 5.1.4? Thanks appreciate the help.

Ealan I have a question for you. I have the 5.0.2 system and just got a subwoofer. My pioneer receiver goes from 100hz, 80z then 60hz. As you know the 5.0.2 speakers all don’t mesh at 80hz. So where would you set the crossover for the subwoofer on the receiver? In need of a pros help. Thanks in advance.
