Soldiers Surprise Daughter at School Magic Show!

Julia and Brian Woodburn (US Army) have been deployed for a while, separating them not only from each other, but their daughter, Addison. They decided to show up through a magic show at Gilbert Jr. High in Louisiana to surprise their baby girl with their return. These are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and it was an amazing experience to film this. Truly emotional. Thank you, Brian and Julia, for your service, and welcome home!

** NOTICE: My dad (the magician) did NOT throw the flag on the ground. You can't see what's behind the curtain (plenty of clothes, bags and cases), and he tosses it specifically on the case he keeps it in.

I just want to state the obvious, I could never imagine what it would be like to have a parent gone for 9 months. That being said, I could never have both my parents gone at the same time. Whoever has disliked this video has no heart and have no pride for people who risk their lives. Welcome home. Thank you for your service, it is greatly appreciated. This video made me cry tears of joy. Recently a family friend came to one of my cheer events and surprised me there and I cried the happiest year that I had in a long time. I didn’t think that I would ever get to experience something like this but I did and it was awesome getting to see someone that I loved so much come home.

Edit: Thank to all the people in the medical fields right now for helping people with corona. That is a risky job and i admire every nurse and doctor who is risking their lives right now.

“She doesn’t have a mom. She’s deployed.” Got damn it. That kid made me sad and mad. Like this little girl already knows her mommas gone, you don’t have to yell it like that!! But he’s also just a kid so I wanted to cry.

To be honest I thought mom was in bear costume since he knew which child was theirs but it being her dad was special also

both parents deployed at the same time.  Wooo, poor little girl, is like grow up without parents, and the fear that loose both.  When civil women have to comeback to their work at the same town of the baby and leave the baby just for 8 hours is too difficult I can´t even think what feel leave a baby and go to another country, I don't know if I can do that.

Just to let you guys know how rare it is to have both spouses in the military, less than one percent of military families can say that. My aunt and uncle are both retired Air Force and they have three kids. I know how hard it is for kids of soldiers especially those with two active duty parents. God bless our military and their families. 🥰
