Lumi Vanimo Highway

Our recent technical assistance mission into Vanimo Town, West Sepik Province, from Lumi Sub-District, was successful despite the rural road conditions. We met with some locals along the way who helped us get through the worst parts of the road and it was insightful, speaking to them and experiencing their daily struggles of transporting their Cocoa and Vanilla to Vanimo and Wewak

This is the road connecting Aitape Vanimo and into Lumi. Updated status is the side part of Aitape Lumi District was looked into by their newly appointed mp Mr Mise. It undergoes gravelly, and it's solid now. Unfortunately, the part of it along Vanimo East Coast under the authority of Mr Belden Hamah was to this date still cars are running on pure mud. There's not much attention put in there by Belden Hamah. Inap lo pairap lo parliament na kam stretm ol ppl bliu pastm.
