I hate when they have these training exercise videos like this because it's easy to have a rapport with a customer when there's absolutely zero souls in site like this. All retail companies that involve cashiers should do a video like this but in real time with real people and the massive lines that follow. I'm talking about Walmart and Costco specifically, it's hard to provide the little nuances like this in real time when you have Angry customers with bratty kids and a huge line of people rolling their eyes cuz you're taking too much time.

Assistant should ask for membership card while unloading the cart and ask if they want a box before cashier starts scanning. cashier should ask how they will pay while scanning. Maybe narrator should mention the yellow line aswell. Otherwise good video.

Never mind I figured out who the front end assistant is I believe it's the lady. How she was bringing up stuff that was on sale and how she was offering the boxes. 😳 I feel silly for asking now.

yeah just wait until the member comes with a million things on their cart and its impossible to fit a box in the cart and it’s the weekend with the crowds getting bigger and bigger by the minute.
