Stand your ground on that Deville. They will likely accept it. I ended up making an extra trip to Dallas last week because I bought an 09 Mazda for 750 (pre-fees) and was countered at $1, 300. It was obvious to me that there was no chance that we'd meet in the middle at a price that we would both be happy with, so I didn't even bother to respond. Later my phone notifies me that I won, gotta go to Dallas, pay and pick up. Point of the story is, it happens often that the sellers will be reasonable.

I CAN NOT BEGIN to say how much I agree with buying a car unseen is dangerous. I purchased a 2007 Chrysler 300 with a clean title with what I thought was relatively light damage to the front clip for 850 plus fees (I’m not a dealer and paid with a cc so 1350 off the lot). Got it and realized the damage was waaaay more extensive. It had a bent subframe, cracked oil pan ( 3” gash) which resulted in a locked up motor. Fortunately the rest of the car was perfect and I have a son who is a mechanic. Pull a motor ourselves off of a wrecked car with the subframe, fix the minor front clip and now we’re in it for 2300 and will sell this beast for 3500 to 4, 000. Point is, I could’ve EASILY had a 1350 boat anchor. I got lucky so do you due diligence and be careful. But this is a lot of fun and you can get good cars but you will have to make some fixes. Thanks for the videos, I enjoy watching AND learning what to look for and the great tips.

That HVAC door actuator..so annoying! 🤣 Had the same problem on our 07 Impala! 😡 We just smacked the dash a few times & it’d go away temporarily 🤣😂. Those Impala’s are great “road trip” cars tho!!... smoooth.... we made several 2700 mile round trips with ours when we had it. 👍👍
Make sure you pull the seats out 💺 to make sure there’re no hidden “plants” 🌱😜

i could have swore you said those big boat cars like Lincolns and Cadillacs were a tough sell, then u bought another one?

Have a friend who has a 185, 000 mile '97 Grand Marquis and it has the same problem with the blend door/flap. He had it fixed once, said they had to take the whole dash apart to get to it, but it started in again less than a year later. Says he and the car are both too old to get it fixed again, but it drives me crazy when I ride with him. That thing runs like a trooper, though.
