For me i think mario have a feelings for kakai before but since he's a new star actor back then, his management might stop him with kakai since most of his fans is for sure not happy with kakai "appearance". Mario might want to be with kakai but he is still a beginner in his career back then. I idolize him for falling in love even if kakai is not that beautiful
