What do you think about the Denafrips Ares II R2R ladder DAC?

Nice review. The only negative I've heard about the Ares II is that it lags/has latency with gaming and movies via optical?

Pair the Ares II with the Denafrips Hades and Thallo amps and you will be in audio Nirvana... That is if you like an old school "primitive" sound of pure Class A, no boost or gain. Very vinyl, everything I put through it, without the pops. ;-)
