आज जाने की ज़िद ना करो एक मशहूर नज़्म है जिसे पाकिस्तानी कवि फ़य्याज़ हाशमी द्वारा लिखा गया है। इस नज़्म की धुन पाकिस्तान के प्रसिद्ध रचयिता सोहैल राणा द्वारा रचित है| इसे प्राचीन गायक हबीब वलि मोहम्मद द्वारा लोकप्रिय बनाया गया जिन्होंने एक पार्श्व गायक के रूप में पाकिस्तानी फिल्म बादल और बिजली (१९७३) में यह गीत गाया था। इसके पश्चात मशहूर ग़ज़ल गायिका फरिदा खानुम उनके टेलिविज़न प्रदर्शन और सार्वजनिक संगीत समारोह में भी यह गीत गाया करती थीं। फरिदा खानुम द्वारा यह गीत राग यमन कल्याण में गाया गया था।

First time i listened her. Ghazal snging is quite a difficult medium but she is 100% PERFECT. Seems she would fill the vacum exists in Indian Ghazal singers arena. Beautiful attractive as much as her Voice. EXCELLENT PERFORMER.
