The springs are dancing to the beat! :-)

I'd like to thank all the engineers out there that design things like this.

Keep your eye on the left valve. Especially on the stem. Just below the rocker arm you can see the valve is bouncing in the valve seat! Absolutely amazing!

If you look closely, you can see the different resonances between the inner and outer springs. Each is vibrating at a slightly different natural frequency due to the different masses and spring rates.

I just bought a vintage strobe light from Goodwill.
Time to set it up.

Wow, things are starting to go south on the intake side. It's bouncing off the seat and losing contact to the rocker at max lift. Time to change gear😂

I see coil bind about the time the valves open half way.😂

Yikes thats leaping all over the place.

This is evidence that a desmodromic valve train is way better than a valve spring system. Desmodromic has zero valve float at 10, 200 RPM.

If the crankshaft is spinning with 10.200 RPM then the camshaft spins at 5.100 RPM...the crankshaft to camshaft ratio is 1:2

Good god. Heaven help us if a connecting rod flexes as much as those valve stems do.
Maybe a short rod is better.
Oh. Already did that on Indy car engines.
