I feel like this guy is the real-life version of the LOTR dwarven smiths. Swords that glow as danger approaches? Sure. Swords that “help” with the user’s swordplay if they are fighting with valor? Why not. A knife that a random hobbit uses to skin a rabbit that also can slice off an orc-head with ease? That's a normal Tuesday. But he chooses to make the best kitchen knives around because food, not danger, is the spice of life.
