But seriously this is what exactly I don’t understand, they won’t green light shows that have a lot of potential that people actually are looking forward to and yet they give us 💩 no one wanted like Velma (including Season 2 which idk why that’s a thing 😩😩), The Idol (plz don’t get me started with that 😫😫), Gotham Knights and other crappy woke products which definitely should’ve been tossed aside.
Like you said, there is some hope and hopefully at some point they will listen to us and give us what they want and if that’s the case then it shows us what WB truly are.

I honestly didn’t think it was gonna get greenlit…it just looked like it was too big of a crossover project. The VA’s they’d have to hire, the permission they’d have to receive from other networks to prevent copyright infringement. It just seemed like a project that had bitten off more than it could chew

For those wondering why isn't it greenlit yet, here's my theory on why.

The problem really isn't adult swim, the problem is that the show needs to be allowed to use characters from other said shows. And if all/some cartoons from cartoon network and adult swim say no. It makes it more impossible or impossible to make it happen, but like the creator said, never say never. Forgot to mention, Warner Bros, does own Adult Swim, and Cartoon Network too so if warner bros says no it most likely never will happen.

This is a true heartbreak. I was a huge fan and i was so exited bc if there was a series for it i would have been sure a movie would have came. Im truly heartbroken for this sad news

It would've been a sick show, was hoping it come out last year in May(Would've watched that and Multiverse Of Madness on the same week to). How come Velma gets to stay but Pibby gets the boot?!

They are probably just busy trying to figure out the budget of their crossovers. The pibby trademark is constantly being renewed, they are greenlighting it later, they are probably working on some things behind the scenes

It's probably because of licensing problems for the characters because tons of the shows reference inside of the Halloween short are from different TV channels like Nickelodeon and Disney
