Great tips! Never really used the marker track but I just might from now on! The B and N was really helpful and I use the P all the time. My favorite is actually using ALT+P with my selection. It makes the selection loop and starts to play right away!

This is a little gem of a clip, David... it's definitely going in my favourites - I'm missing your little tutorial clips.. have you been producing a lot fewer of these in the past 12 months, say?

Hi Dave, I've been exploring guitar response impulses and was wondering about your opinion on them and how you use them. Any chance of a video on it?

I love your contents very much. Thank you! But if you make your video less than 5 minutes long I`m sure you`ll get more subscribers. Good luck.

I think INSERT key is faster than SHIFT+#. Also with shift+insert it creates the other type.

Hello, I am very very new to recording. I'm a pretty competent guitarist but I am still no pro and being almost 39 years old with a family and a very busy work life, im not going to get much better(if at all). I write pretty complicated fast songs and I am trying to record them. I have seen other places that some bands will record their stuff at a slower speed and then speed it up. I have no shame in doing that. Like I said I am no pro. But I have no idea how to do that. I assume it isn't as simple as lowering the BPM, recording it and then making the BPM what it was originally. I assume you get pitch differences, artifacts, etc. One of my all time favorite bands August Burns Red was featured on URM and they showed that they did that with them and that they slowed them down maybe 7 BPM. But he did a lot of cutting up on the track and I didn't know why he was doing all that. If there's are ways to do this without introducing artifacts, I would love a tutorial on this. I have some very fast trem picking parts with 4 guitars that I will record and think I NAILED it timing wise. Then I will look at the waves and see that's it wasn't as good as it should have been. Im not sure I can do it any better. Literally when I play it, with the click and drums, I cannot even tell where I am off beat. Maybe due to the speed? I dont know. It doesn't sound terrible to me. But I want it to be better. If you find the time I would REALLY appreciate a SUPER beginners tutorial on this.

after 15 years using Cubase, i had to switch to Studio One 5.
Cubase 10.5 is so buggy and heavy, almost no new feature, CPU eater and so many issues.
Sorry for Steinberg company
