Cuirass is the word to describe the armour that protects a person's torso, not bodice armour. (I'm a bit a of a nerd when it comes to armour and weaponry.) But, terminology aside, your tutorial is very good and the cosplay is looking great.

P.s. The concept of gender specific armour is a modern day creation. From a more realistic perspective, practical armour is tailored to the physique of the person who will wear it, regardless of gender.

That is looking amazing! I am currently working on building a cosplay for heather from race to the edge and I’m not entirely sure on how to build her skirt. Do you have any ideas ?

Ok, few things....
First of all: THIS IS AWESOME!!!!
Second: keep up your awesome work! Hope to see part 3 soon. I'm like checking every day for the new video.
What do you think about using craft foam for the scales and just glue them to the main body? I mean, soldering iron is a great technique but I really suck at engraving with it. Do you think craft foam would work anyway?
