Honey and red food coloring is another great option. It does not dye the skin. It makes a runny but still thick consistency. It is great for SFX and other fake blood uses. If you leave it on for too long it will stick to the skin, but besides that it works very well. The formula I was taught for stage blood is a normal-sized (I guess ~20 oz) bottle of clear dish soap, 20 drops red and 1 drop blue. But this is way beyond that, THANK YOU!! This is awesome!!!

love it. I used corn syrup, red/black food coloring and cornflakes last year. turned out disgustingly awesome. switched up the cornflakes for ground coffee for a nasty burn.

When I was in High school, I tried making fake blood using chocolate syrup and food coloring. It was really great, doesn't stain a lot on skin and tastes good.

My bf is being a cereal killer for Halloween as all the teachers at the high school he works are doing word puns. He decided to go with lucky charms so the blood splatter and etc can be rainbow colors xD your video saved me a lot of time on figuring out how to execute the rainbow blood fx for cheap, so thanks!
