Need a last minute costume idea for Halloween? We've got you covered... make some fake blood in 1 minute! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:

1. Get 1 teaspoon of flour and drop it in a bowl.
2. Next, half a teaspoon of red food coloring. Put that in the bowl as well.
3. Once you’ve got those two in there, get 1 full tablespoon of corn syrup and pour that bloodsucker in. Look were almost there.
4. Now your gonna put one single solitary drop of blue food coloring in to help darken the color.
5. Stir up your mixture like crazy and in no time it will start looking like Dracula made a deposit in your mixing bowl.
Boom! That’s it! Realistic fake blood… and it’s edible too so don’t worry about getting it in your mouth.

Happy halloween from Household Hacker. May your candy be sweet and your fake blood even sweeter.

Just another trick: to make clots and darken up the colour even more (and to give it a slightly rusty tinge like drying blood) you can add a few coffee granules.

"And now the fun part, the whisk..."
If you listen hard enough, you might hear Dan Howell cringing in the distance.

I made this fake blood recipe recently. I dabbed a little under my nose for my Eleven costume. Everyone at the Halloween party kept asking me if it was a real nosebleed. 😂😂👍🏻👍🏻

Just used it for a Cassandra Dimitrescu cosplay and it works great (if anyone wants to use it after a while it absorbs and you have to re apply it

I made some for my daughter. I made a slurry of water and cornflour/cornstarch (like you make when wanting to thicken up ad stew etc), added red food colouring and a tiny amount of blue and mix. It even has the consistency of real blood. If the cornflour/cornstarch settles at the bottom just re-stir it again, it dissolves really easily. I used about 3 heaped teaspoons of the cornflour to about half cup water 😊

Well, that looks even better than the kechup and blackcurrant mix that a horror movie instructor taught me! :D Something him and his friends used a lot before he turned pro and could afford something better.. :P But it's still pretty good.. ^^

Thanks! this worked for me and it looked great, It was easy to make and it can come off skin pretty well and won't leave a stain (not sure about clothes yet though). But this was fantastic so thank you very much! :)

You can also use cocoa powder, honey, and red food colouring. Very yummy.
