Показать описание
Fullerton is a city located in northern Orange County, California. Fullerton was founded in 1887. It secured the land on behalf of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. Historically it was a center of agriculture, notably groves of Valencia oranges and other citrus crops; petroleum extraction; transportation; and manufacturing. It is home to numerous higher educational institutions, particularly California State University, Fullerton and Fullerton College. From the mid-1940s through the late 1990s, Fullerton was home to a large industrial base made up of aerospace contractors, canneries, paper products manufacturers, and is considered to be the birthplace of the electric guitar, due in a large part to Leo Fender.

As you quietly walk to make so many of your absolutely stunning and enjoyable walking tours through Los Angeles where I lived from birth to age 25, and Orange County and their beach towns for the next 20, you’ve literally walked in my own steps, and in other places beyond. I’ve walked and enjoyed this special town for years.

This week, I returned from wellness concern/17 day hospital stay and doing so very well. Your videos touched my memories and they gave me hope during that fairly difficult time so that I will continue to see, never lose sight of the beautiful horizon. Thank You. Xxx

What a beautiful town, I was just there today. For some strange reason I have never been to Fullerton despite living in Southern California all my life.

Great to see Villa del Sol [former California Hotel] at 5:15 - my family emigrated from England to Fullerton in 1953 and the California Hotel was where we stayed on arrival. Then in 1972 my Mum took me to the [by then] Villa del Sol for a meal to celebrate my 21st birthday...so was where I had my 1st (legal) alcoholic drink. A year later in 1973, we left Fullerton and returned to the UK. Fond memories.

I've walked this route many times over the years. I should've made a walking tour back when it was a ghost town due to COVID. I did take some pics though. There's a lot of outdoor dining now and a lot of businesses closed up.

I'm hearing "My Hometown" by Bruce while I'm watching this. I used to love that town, now it's dead to me.

Sometimes it sounds like a lot of surrounding noises get all filtered in your videos. Like at 14:35 on this one. What exactly happens there?
