We need GOG's stance on DRM to extend to the multiplayer experience; there are games that require launching through the GOG launcher just to use LAN play, which should NOT be a thing.

I don't know about now in the USA but i currently live in mexico and it's quite usual for elec. to go out in residential areas as well as cables (fiber cables) being torn due to semi-trucks since our cables are not underground like in most of 1st world countries; having GOG has been a life saver i remember being able to play system shock 2 happily even though i had no internet. ohh and they have goodies with your game another incentive to buy from good old games.

when i was in the military i lived on a small base in the middle of the jungle. I bought an xbox one and we didn't really have internet. we did but not in our rooms. and the internet that we did have was super slow so when i bought a physical copy of a game and i wasn't allowed to play because i was not connected to the internet I was furious.

From my limited understanding; for DRM-free you could basically lend the game to a friend by copping the files !?

Odd how they mentioned DRM on the Steam Deck and the issues they bring while not planning to support it at least a bit more. It sounds to me like an awesome opportunity to show people the advantages of DRM free gaming, and supporting Linux in the bargain is a huge plus

Gog should renew their commitment to having their older games to run on new os systems and newer games to run older os systems.

I understand WHY it's a thing but at the same time it sucks knowing that you don't own half of your games, for some people ALL of their games. I'm a single player Andy, I will always say that SP games are king... Hopefully this subject will be talked about more since Sony's recent shenanigan's.

Being drm free and for the prices I would rather buy then risk pirate a game that might give a virus or worse. Also not to mention sales.

I don't think gog was a platform for drm infrigment criminal, because in fact anything digital stuffs once it was in internet, its there still, so its kinda stupid then there is anti piracy software, which kinda....how do i say this, if many want the games, even many more want to crack it, the idea of making the game single player always online its just outrageous, i have crappy internet connection that keep cutting me the few minutes i start playing, beside we not craking games, we paid for it, we bought the product, the drm is like your little tag on your bed that say 'do not remove this label' but you can remove it anyway, which why cracked games is unstopable but unhonorable, and gog see the gap between devs and customer (players) who both want assurance for the product, just look at the refund rate gog has"
