You can get a lot of rare flowers with specific bushes in the snow area too

And btw, the bite attack gives u souly hide off bodies. Like no meat. Which is really good for gathering hide. The only Dino that over shines the theri from this is the saber.

Same with the Maewing. Do the belly flop attack but quickly click normal attack before hitting the bush and you harvest a bunch of berries and fiber

Therizinos, useful for farming fiber, berries, silk, wood, thatch, and other stuff.

I remember having theris made for farming up silk for my desert cloth, and rare flowers so I can keep my domesticated beehives all set up.
