Muslims marking Eid al-Fitr in unique ways amid the pandemic

Sunday is Eid al-Fitr, and as millions of Muslims end the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan, communities will also be adjusting to a new normal. Maleeha Sheikh with how people are continuing traditions this year while staying apart.

The the entire Christian religion was invented by Paul the Rabbi. Paul was an enemy of Jesus during his life and actively killed his followers. After the crucifixion, Paul started claiming that he saw a vision that he was Jesus’ personal apostle and is now the leader of all of Jesus’ followers who should stop following Disciples, the head of whom was Peter Simon. Most of the real Gospels were destroyed or ignored, while Paul the Rabbi began fabricating his own ‘gospels’ on Jesus’ teachings, despite never having followed Jesus or learning from him.

In the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn till dusk, 17 hours of no food or drink. Eid is the end of the month and we celebrate with family and food just like any other festival like thanksgivig, Xmas etc.
