About Anjelah:
Anjelah Johnson-Reyes was born and raised in San Jose, California where she grew up with four siblings in a large extended family to which she remains close. Anjelah found herself an internet sensation and pioneer in viral YouTube videos when her notorious “Nail Salon” bit from a local comedy show was posted and received over 100 million views! Shortly thereafter she was added to the cast on the original MADtv where she trademarked her legendary character, Bon Qui Qui. Similar to the nail salon video, the Bon Qui Qui sketch caught on and have been viewed by over 75 million people. The multi-hyphenate’s popularity has translated into four successful comedy specials: That’s How We Do It” (Comedy Central), The Homecoming Show (NUVO TV), Not Fancy (Netflix) and Mahalo & Good Night (Epix). She has displayed her acting prowess both on TV and film. Some of her credits include “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Superstore,” “Moms’ Night Out,” and “Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.” Her first book was published in 2022, Who Do I Think I Am: Stories of Chola Wishes and Caviar Dreams, a hilarious and touching memoir full of memorable anecdotes on how a Latina dynamo was able to forge ahead and become successful.

I went to the Dr at age 42 thinking something horrid was happening. She laughed when she told me I was pregnant but not only that, I was 5 months along 😳😳😳 Baby boy is healthy and happy 💗

Great story… thank you for sharing.

I have a friend who got pregnant at age 46 after almost 20 years of trying to get pregnant naturally.

They didn’t do any IVF or any interventions, they had basically given up and accepted their lives without children.

Until one day, she started throwing up a lot, her menstruation was off but she just thought it was perimenopause due to her age.

Went to doc eventually because the nausea wouldn’t subside…did blood test, and boom.

Shocked everyone in the family and they are overjoyed!

There is NOTHING like parenthood. Nothing.

I woke up @ 41 saying..." Shut, i forgot to have children. So i went to the GYN to ask if it was too late and we did a blood test and he said ur eggs are like a 23 year old congratulations to u and ur husband...i laughed and said i need one on those so I'm leaving right away cause i need to have my child by next year ... My son is now 16 i had him at 43...i don't regret one min...and have encouraged many to consider having a child or adopting because it's a Beautiful experience.

Congratulations!! I also never wanted kids. Then in 2019 I had an intense urge to become a mother. We started trying without success and was then diagnosed with fibroids. I had my myomectomy in March 2020 and unexpectedly became pregnant at the end of April 2020. My daughter just turned 2 in January and it has been the most exciting, fulfilling time of our lives!

I had my daughter at 40 and my son at 43, they are my life! We are so blessed ❤ all healthy and me too, I was super careful taking care of myself, no gestational diabetes. I never wanted kids out of wedlock and I wanted a family man that would be there, I meant my second husband and it all fell in place. It was meant to be. ❤

I had my son at 43. Such a blessing and I'm so proud of him. He is a 25 year old man and in law enforcement. He makes me part of his life and his babies lives. My husband, his dad, passed away 13 years ago and I don't know what I would have done without him. God blessed me with this wonderful man. I'm a big fan of yours and I will be praying for you and your family. God bless you. Tia Mary knew!

After Going through my miscarriages and ivf process along with my faith I changed my mind on abortions. I’m not afraid to say it, but I am a pro lifer. Life is so precious and I see it’s a miracle for God.

I recently had a customer who had an adorable baby boy and when I got to talking to her she told me she had been with her husband since 2001 and was never able to get pregnant and out of no where she was pregnant after 20 years of waiting. Amazing.

Hi Angela! CONGRATULATIONS to you & Manny! My Mom was 42 when she had me 58 years ago, and I had a wonderful childhood, not lacking anything due to her age. The ONLY downside is I only had her for 42 years (she died at the age of 84). But they were wonderful years, and I’m grateful for every one of them. May God continue to bless you both as you venture into parenthood! Sending much love your way💕💕💕

Huge congratulations! I was 41 when I delivered my beautiful daughter! My pregnancy was smooth and my delivery was perfect! 7 hour induction. I think the process was so wonderful as I was in great shape! I was working with a trainer 4 times a week and eating a healthy diet! Fun is that at every pediatric visit I would tell the doctor I kept her alive for another visit. It was a running joke. My daughter is 18 now and healthy and happy! 41 year olds can have a healthy pregnancy, delivery and child birth.
