Both can grow stronger infinitly but cid in anime does it extremely fast, his first atomic at age of 12 (or 13) was country level due to him defeating primordial dragon
At age of 15(s1 anime) he is mountain level and blown up the sanctuary dimension
At age of 16(s2 anime ) he lit up the void of space with his atomic move (minimum destruction level was planetary) without dropping a sweat or being exhausted and able to throw opponents on 600-1000 km distance up with punches in matter of seconds and he is still *not serious* he really wanting to show off while doing it making it hard to measure his progress correctly but damn

black hole can cause atomic particles to collapse. In a void, scattered galaxies are still existing even small atomic particles, thus the shadow still exist cause light still exist in a void. But in a black hole even light can't escape, without light there's no shadow. Stories like novels and anime often follow even rules of the universe, they were just given plot armours but everything has it's basis. Eumella the darkness itself wins.

Personally speaking, the winner would be Cid currently. As per Cids Verse, there are different dimensions. He can experiment and further advance his own power. That limit could be after he refined and after experimenting the different dimensions power. Although Yumielle can infinitely lvl up, it would take a very very long time to lvl and catch up to Cids power (higher the lvl the slower u lvl up). And if Yumielle can die of old age.

The Winner would obviously be Cid

😂 btw, guys do you know what's the actual difference? It's just... Cid works really, really, really hard. Even after being isekaied he trained, trained and trained. Even if his reason isn't as noble as this 'To protect my loved one's I have to become strong'. He is a man, a man has dream that he must fullfill which he is doing. Through he may cringe, may roleplay but I think he deserve it. His character motivates me a lot. And I don't think it's worth it to compare Cid with that girl(what's her name again😅).
