I ask how can I do so that when the activity is loaded, it brings me a record that is available in a database and when I capture it I update it and send it back to the database and the request is closed, now if I load it does not have anything the database keeps repeating until it gets one and the cycle is repeated, the post and get methods are done using retrofit thanks

sir the request to the api really happens in background thread ? that means the retrofit internally itself creates a background thread to the api call, then we dont need to worry about the performance, as i thought the full process will be done in the main thread only..
