Plastic Container Fish Tanks part 1

G'day and Thanks for joining me on a Tour through the Fish Shed focusing on my Plastic Container Fish Tanks used for Betta Breeding and early Growout.
I have had plastic Tub tanks running for many years both outdoors and indoors but for the past 3 years I have used plastic tanks from a popular Australian Office supply company.
3 years ago I purchased 2 packs of these plastic containers.
These container packs offer 6 x 10 litre tanks for $20- and 4 x 20 litre tanks for $20- offering many opportunities for fishkeeping. Yes 10 TANKS FOR $40-.
Very solid construction and offer clear view of fish etc. 14 inch glass panel makes a perfect lid, although supplied plastic lid works fine too.

I find the "Lowboy" 10 litre (2.5 gallon) perfect as a Betta Breeder Tank.
And the 20 litre (5 Gallon) perfect for MANY USES.........from Guppy tanks to growouts to fish transport to Hospital Tanks, Tetra Breeders etc etc etc etc.
The clear view is incredible and I have seen very little algae over 3 years of use, although their locations have had only low filtered sunlight and I breed a few Bristlenose and Ramshorn Snails that find there way into all my tanks. They operate with no Filtration, no Air, just Plants.

What a cool idea, very creative! I have a huge fish tank at home, it needs a filter and whatever else you have to put in a fish tank LOL it's just an empty tank with no equipment at the moment, I need to research what I need to set it up so I can buy a little Murray Cod to keep in it
