One of their best for sure. There are so many great songs that most people missed. Their arguably the best group ever.

Now THIS is music and not the crap that "passes" for music these days! 👍👍

one of the best songs they ever did..The construction is brilliant..There is a reason Lennon & McCartney loved them.

This song makes me want to cry.... the beginning of it.. the way it just hangs in silence just does me in. How can anyone not be a fan of The Beach Boys.

1965 this song came out, I had a 1965GTO, pretty girlfriend weekends we went to the beach. There were so many good moments to enjoy, Saturday nites we would hang out at our favorite hamburger stand. This song brings back all of those memories an more

This is one Of The Beach Boys best songs-Unfortunately, it doesn't receive airplay on the so-called oldies/greatest hits stations across the country.

Beach Boys, Brian Wilson worked at a higher level creative wise than any other self contained group. Harmonics, Melodicly & Rythymicly very sophisticated. So well performnd & produced we Boomer's didn't notice. Session players in the wrecking crew did notice. Brian was leading Rn'R to new places.

A ' lost gem ' from the ' boys. Arguably one of their top 10 best songs, subtle chord changes show just how talented they were.Never tire of hearing it !.

Nothing more ordinary than mating music, yet the Beach Boys do it so extraordinarily.
Their best songs are so complex that they seems obvious, almost trivial.
At their very best, they were the best group of the 1960s (and, yes, that includes the Beatles).

a lost classic. every time i play this one, i have to go back and listen to it three or four more times. it's not complex, just fascinating, what with the slience breaks, the modulations, and an extremely clean production.

The Beach Boys brought intricate chord changes that really worked into Pop, and changed the entire mindset of 1-4-5-1 with maybe an added 2 in there. They expanded the horizons, and that's what I find extremely neat about this song is that they found ways to make it work quite well musically while exploring such key changes that no one would've ever thought might go together.

Rock On, Brian!

A brilliantly constructed song, and Brian Wilson makes it seem effortless. And, by God, it never gets boring...and I've heard it hundreds of times!

The first group i ever fell in love with. 11 years old 1986, My folks Endless summer Lp. I've went back to them sporadically down the years. Somebody on here said 'At their best the greatest 60's band'. I couldn't agree more, total magic, it doesn't get any finer.

The pauses or “blank spaces” in this song are an absolutely brilliant use of poetic caesura. This is another example of Brian Wilson’s composing genius.
