I got COVID right now. First symptom was frontal headache and fever, and then that persistent rib pain that is now getting much worse. I have it all on the left side and at first I was worried it was my heart, but then it started in the back on left. So lower front left rib, upper front left rib, and middle left back are very sorry spots that seem to get worse.

I had covid last month and I've gone to the Er 2 ... I was coughing non stop for like 3 days my taste and smell left me. Fast-forward a month later I'm still having rib pain on my right side. It's like bellow my rib cage and moved to where my kidney wrap around my body toward the front of my stomach bellow the rib cage and on the side of my right side as well.. I was told it wasn't a kidney stone... been putting patches in that area to help with inflammation... when I breath on my right side it feels like somthing is sitting on my right side of my chest ... I've been in discomfort for a month... when it first happened just touching the area hurt.. it felt like someone punch in the stomach... no back pain so I've been very puzzled by it.. now I do struggle with Abdominal pain I have since I was a child with like constipation and I'm like lactosintolerant and stuff like that so I have to be really careful on what I put in my body.. I'm just curious how long the discomfort will be around.. since having covid feel out of breath, the mask don't help going on 3 years now... I feel that personal I hold my breath a lot without even realizing I am.. what is your recommendation? Should I be looking into breathing therapy??

Thanks that answers that, I was Covid positive after getting it from the wife, who is in healthcare and caught it from her work. I had symptoms for about 3 weeks, after i was recovering and out of the blue I started to get rib pains, at the top of my ribs just under my chest on my right hand side. Strange as i never felt any issues breathing when i had Covid symptoms, although i did have a cough, but that had gone down. I thought my wife had punch me in the night lol. It felt like i had been punched. I ended up taking an anti-inflammatory. Its now less painful just aching a little. My symptoms was a cough and a high temperature and a strange smell. My wife mainly was tiredness, pains in her back, her lung and pain in her legs and loss of smell and taste, she had symptoms for 2 weeks and then started to recover.

I was tested COVID positive this August 1, 2021 and some of my symptoms are mild difficulty in breathing and headache. After 2 weeks, I am having pain in my chest and felt like tight breathing sometimes but upon checking on the oximeter, my oxygen level and heart rate is normal. Hi there, I had covid in the end of december it didnt get me bad at all, but after 2 weeks I started to have panic attack because my heart rate was increased and literally felt like a heart attack. I did ECG 3 times, everything was normal, my lungs looks fine, and heart works perfectly fine..anyway, its been 3 months now and I still have that 'pain' in my left chest and it goes all around to the back (higher part of the body) also on the left side...any ideas what to do or what it could be..?

Hello, im posting here on behalf of my mother (51, F)
My mother has to go to dialysis 3 times a week since none of her kidneys work, hence why i think the virus took such a huge toll on her. Can anyone suggest something for my mother's back pain, mainly upper back pain. It's absolutely excrutiating, i feel like it's killing her she cant get up or do anything, her SpO2 while with an oxygen mask (Max level) is almost always above 90 unless she tries to talk or switch sides, she's taken remdesivir today for the first time too. Does anyone have any possible suggestions that may help my mother in the slightest bit? Any advice possible is welcomed, thank you very much.
