I'm all for people making a good living, but charging $7 for a glass of Canada Dry is making a killing. Yikes.

honestly the chef putting the dome over the abalone is the visual representation of the quote "Shush child."

I wonder how many people order that dish and then react like I did when the abalone moved: namely, 'AAA HOLY ~BLEEP~ IT MOVED!'

Thank you for putting the description of the food the chef is preparing.

Yay! First. 😊😆

I’ve never felt bad for a shellfish before, but that poor abalone moving around the way it was…it was almost as if it was looking at everything and wondering what was going on. 😢
I think I’ll stick to seeing my food after it’s been dispatched from life. ✌🏻😊

As a Westerner who knows where his food comes from, I confess I'd feel a bit weird watching that abalone being cooked to death, but I'd still eat it. I'd not be able to afford this any time soon, but it looks to be an exceptional high end dining experience! Thank you for sharing it with us all, Bacons!

It was a bit disappointing that they didn’t use the wagyu beef fat to cook the vegetables, garlic and rice like many of the other restaurants you have been to. It all looks delicious though!

I felt bad for the poor little abalone, but would definitely try the rest of the meal. It was so artfully done and very relaxing to watch. For me, this experience would absolutely be worth the price.👍🏾

Wow this Chef is so skilled! I love how he adds the fat (flavor) back to the meet. Cut it into smaller peaces so you can enjoy different combinations of seasoning and garnish. Then splits everything into 2 perfect portions. Impressive attention to details.

Here in the US when we have Teppanyaki, it is cooked in reverse with the fried rice and soup being served first.

I love that authentic teppanyaki is table side artful cooking and not having to catch a shrimp in your mouth from across the room.

Everything looked marvelous and your chef was spot on. Just wondering when the salt bae will finally die out.😊

All I could think was if we were in an alternate universe where abalone were the dominant species and they steamed humans alive to cook and eat.

The sound of the oil frying that Abalone almost sounded like it was crying

I love to watch these masters cook. Everything looked so tasty. Too expensive for my budget, though. Thank you for taking me with you on your journeys. I love your channel. Happy new year. May 2024 be filled with good health, happiness and prosperity.

I love seafood but that sad abalone made me so unconfortable...no thanks

Brinjal is, for those who are unfamiliar (as I was!), just another name for eggplant or aubergine. The chef there put on the best sort of show -- no theatrics, just a masterful dance of implements to serve up a delicious meal!

Watching that Abalone sliding around the shell almost as if it was confused or something was weird, . I don't see seafood or anything being prepped live as I am way too far away from the coast to really get fresh fish/other seafood

these are not chefs, these are artists on the highest level !!!

I don't like seafood but even if i did i wouldn't be able to eat the abalone knowing that a few moments prior it was alive and wiggling around... It's just too creepy
