Terraria GPS, PDA & Cell Phone Crafting Guide! (How to get Fish Finder, Goblin Tech & REK 3000, 1.3)

Crafting guide for the GPS, PDA and Cell Phone in Terraria! Includes how to get all 13 items required and how to combine them in order (crafting tree).

As of now the GPS is only functionally available on console and PC, and the rest (PDA and Cell Phone, along with their other components) are only available since the 1.3 update which is coming very soon to Xbox One and PS4, likely to be included in the upcoming Nintendo Switch version, and then later should also be coming to mobile platforms (IOS and Android).

If you're on Wii U, Xbox 360 or PS3 you can still get the GPS at least, but unfortunately on 3DS and some other platforms none of this will work.

Crafting recipes:

GPS = Compass + Depth Meter + Gold or Platinum Watch
Fish Finder = Fisherman's Pocket Guide + Weather Radio + Sextant
Goblin Tech = Stopwatch + DPS Meter + Metal Detector
R.E.K. 3000 = Tally Counter + Lifeform Analyzer + Radar

PDA = GPS + Fish Finder + Goblin Tech + R.E.K. 3000
Cell Phone = PDA + Ice or Magic Mirror

After 130 hours of gameplay on the same character with 5 different worlds Im glad I saved every single item in chests and decided to use my craft guide. I was able to consolidate everything and got down to the pda and learned I have yet to get the fish finder. Hence why im here, thank you.

Fish finding type of accessories take for ever to obtain via angler, I've defeated Duke Fishron and Moonlord on expert mode and played a total of 2k hours. (I still havn't gotten all of them sigh).

I have the cellphone prehardmode on expert mode :) and i got the metal detector when i killed my first nymph

I killed a nymph in expert and thought nothing of the metal detector. I thought it was a waste of a slot... man I am regretting that so hard right now...

quick tip: travelinv merchant sells radars too... (very rarely)
