Does Keith deserve his captainship? Just because you buy the ship and buy the pots doesn't make you a captain. It makes you a ship owner.
The way he talks to his crew is disrespectful, and yet he demands their respect. It's one thing if somebody messes up, yeah they should be called out for it, but as soon as that happens his first response is to start cussing and yelling and screaming. You a grown-ass man, so grow up.
The moment his crew member said you're still blaming me for the knot, he really overreacted. It's at times like this that I miss Sig. Sure he cussed at his men, but he had their respect. He didn't just demand it, he earned it.

Gotta admit Keith you are one of my least favorite captains. Quick to anger and bad decisions. You think using your position to make foolish decisions and then holding a "family meeting" just to realize your mistake and not apologize. Very childish.

Keith is the route of all problems. Going back years and years he has fought with captains to deckhands constantly. He went out on deck with the sole purpose to diminish the deckhand on bait, why? The deckhand knows he has been demoted to bait and he is still doing his job. Keith can catch Grab and he is the captain, yes he is good at that, but he is not a very nice person and the way he conducts himself is wrong. He is Divorced for a reason, and only over the last few years has a better relationship with Monty as he used to speak to him like crap too and he got fed up with him and left. Keith is the common denominator in that he is always seeking conflict!
