Unexpected summer storm KEVVLOG³ #14

An unexpected summer storm hit my home town Noordwijk. With winds between 35 and 50 knots it was one of those days you only really get in the spring or fall. I guess we got lucky having this storm happen in the middle of the summer. The set up I was riding was a 8m pivot on 20m lines. Let the next storm come!!

Kevin do you think you could do a step by step analysis on one of your massive jumps? where do you keep the kite at each stage, what goes through your mind when you are about to connect with the kicker? what you care about more, speed or timing? do you go from 10 to 11 or to 12 in a wind like that? where do you want your kite to be positioned during the jump, especially before downlooping? i have 1000 more questions, would love to hear any detailed insights from you

This video has been an inspiration and a tutorial for me during this past year, my favourite kite video. Before yesterday I went out for the first time with a Vegas 9 and 38 knots (while everyone was trying to convince me to not go because it was too dangerous 😅) and I achieved a 16m jump and a 11 seconds of hangtime (woo datas).
