Thank you very much for this video, learned so much in just 5 mins. Other videos take like 20 mins to say nothing.

My 4k smart Tv is like 5- 10 ft away from my Wi-Fi router, with no walls blocking but I notice that my 4k picture isn't always great and I sometimes lose a couple of seconds of sound through my soundbar and I'm in an apt, so I'm wondering if going wired would fix the issue.

I would Ethernet connect all WiFi access points to the network. So cables don’t go away regardless.

There’s more cons to WiFi than that. Another is only so many can transmit at the same time without injecting collisions. AC was the first standard that fixed part of this problem. Also WiFi is half duplex. But I would say never use mesh networks wirelessly. Always connect a mesh via wired. If you don’t want to run cables then go Homeplug Powerline or MOCA. I have an outdoor WiFi access point at the cabin but I burried Ethernet cat6 under the ground.

Garbage wifi like that retail cable box wifi is junk.

When you start talking about Ubiquiti or TPLink Omada or Meraki network wifi then your talking equal to cable. IMO
