What do you see for the future of warfare?

Could the Axis have won, or did they never stand a chance in the first place? The more in depth I go, the more it feels like the odds were stacked up against a Axis Victory, like the American Protection of the convoys, The Battle of France looking like sheer luck because they had a idiot for a general, and the Polish army in 1939. It seems to me that the Axis would've never actually been able to have a complete domination over the world.

2 Questions: Would "Operation Kantokuen" (if launched as planned on August 19th, 1941) make any really difference on the Eastern front? Why did the Japanese cancel it just little over a week before it was scheduled?
I hear it was a combination FDR's embargoes and the heavy resistance that Germans were facing in Russia that convinced the Japanese to change plans, but I'm not too sure.

Do you think it would have been feasible for the Heer to go full, or at least to use mainly diesel-powered vehicles from the start? Fischer–Tropsch did provide a higher percentage of high quality diesel than other processes so it was a possibility.

Could you go into depth with Guerrilla warfare? I know Che Guevara made a book on it if you want some where to start, if you want specifics I would like to know if it is still relevant to this day and would it work against a force with armour capability and air capabilities
