20 useful French words and phrases for ESSAY WRITING

Here we have a list of 20 most commonly used french words and phrases which can be very useful for essay writing. This video is aimed at helping beginners.
With each phrase or word, a sentence is also given for better understanding and as everything is explained in english as well, therefore, it can be understood by everyone, mostly people who have just started off with french.

Hi, I just did the GCSE writing exam couple of days back. For the question " why life is difficult in your region", I’m sure I justified the opinions but I was wondering whether these sentences count as opinions and reasons justified?
la vie est vraiment difficile pour les jeunes car il n’y a plus de cinéma, il n’ y a rien pour les jeunes car il n’ y a ni parc ou ni aire de jeux, quel dommage! Donc, je dirais que c’est assez barbant et difficile pour les jeunes dans ma région.
une autre raison est que le chômage est un gros problème dans ma région car il y a beaucoup de jeunes donc il est difficile de trouver un emploi et cela m'inquiète

Also, what does it mean by always relevant? If I answered the two bullet points and on top of that, if I conveyed some extra info, will I lose marks? For instance if I also talked about ways to reduce the problems at some points to make life in the region less difficult and so this would make life less difficult
