I just had a brain stent placed by Dr Justin Caplan, for a 7mm, ICA aneurysm... This brilliant Harvard grad inserted my stent and the staff treated me no less than royalty! What a great team... Sam, was my nurse in the neuro ICU and BRAVO!!! I am a nurse myself and 38 years in the field... Sams care was a PERFECT 10. We were treated as family on the unit. I feel so blessed to have been under the best neurological team in the world and to have so far, at 9 days post-op.. great outcomes. No matter what happens, the care there is a hallmark of patient excellence. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.. Dr. Caplan, your devotion and dedication are making a difference for me and all your patients. I work in health quality now and am a health administration professional... Joint Commission and NCQA... Currently I perform risk management but have a sorted past in managed care. May I say, highest honors to you and your great team there. Saving lives is more than money, you are making a difference. Four weeks ago today, I had a craniotomy to clip two unruptured brain aneurysms. The surgery was done by Dr. Raphael Tamargo. My surgery was on a Tuesday and I was discharged the following Saturday. My only post operative complaint is some swelling over one eye. There was hardly any pain associated with the procedure or recovery.... just some discomfort at the suture lines. The hospital is incredible. Every single encounter with staff was professional and caring. The Zayed Tower is like a luxury hotel. The Johns Hopkins reputation is a magnet for the best of the best. God bless Dr. Tamargo and the entire Hopkins Team.

Can anyone help me I was born with scoliosis n then in 2009 I woke up with a sore back n was diagnosed with spinal stenosis n had my L1-S5 disk replaced with a titanium implant that didn't have a cushion put underneath the implant n now the disk below is smashed as well now I have a piece spine broke of above it I am in agony and can't get an MRI as I have 7cm of metal which burnt me internally.I am heartbroken as I was due to go my first holiday abroad at 41yr old can anyone help in your field

Hello, Namaste, my name is Dr Bishwas Gurung all the way from Nepal and i work as a house officer in department of neurosurgery in one of the private medical College in Nepal.
well we have a case of 21 years male C2-C3 vertebral bone fracture following fall from a building of 20 feet tall, whom we had already done the fixation of the fracture vertebra after 2 days of his admission in the hospital after a week of his operation he started developing fever and pain which was generalised and all the baseline investigations including complete hemogram, blood culture, urine examination and culture, ANA test, Malarial serology and all the test was within normal limit a d negative test now it has been almost 2 months since the boy started developing fever and pain so there any condition that leads to fever and pain for such a long time? Just to inform pain is what he is complaining the most.
It will be great if we could find the solutions.
