Reva LITERALLY engineered Leia's kidnapping from Alderaan. Then she knew Leia was moved to the city planet and then followed to the mining one. How would a kidnapped 10 year old learn detailed information about rebels, secret bases and escape lines in that amount of time? It is so idiotic it doesn't make sense. Reva is questioning Leia like she's some rebel in the know when she's literally been off Alderaan for a very brief time and part of that was with kidnappers. No sense whatsoever.

I couldn't understand at the end why Leia told Obi-wan "I didn't tell them anything". Did she know anything? Why does Reva think she knows anything? Wasn't Leia kidnapped to draw out Obi-wan, as a trap for him? But Reva, which set up the plan, now forgot about it and thinks Leia is important?

A week? You give this show too much credit. They could have filmed the whole six episodes before lunch.

I keep thinking about the proposed idea of the show being: "Six jedi who survived Order 66 learn that Luke Skywalker is Anakin's son and they decide to kill him before he can become his father and Obi Wan has to stop them without revealing himself to Luke"

That would have really worked. It's interesting. You don't need a fetch quest with Leia. You don't need inquisitors as villains. You know how it ends, but you know that Obi Wan will have to wrestle with his role in creating Darth Vader and the audience will have to consider whether or not the 6 jedi are right to want Luke dead.

The show, if anything, is about giving you what you don’t want. That’s the majority of Disney star wars

They hyped Hayden up only for Reva to be the second main star of the series. So disappointed in the series.

Great job guys! I agree with your observations - BLAND BLAND BLAND!

Several things about this episode:

Why didn't Reeva simply tell Leia that they rescued her from a known Jedi terrorist and now are taking her back home. Then they could've cooperatively manipulated her for info.

Ingram is not intimidating and unless they give her character a physical deformity she never will be. But I think they're advancing their wholly-owned Disney characters over original ones to stiff George on any royalties they might have to give him for their use

On top of that the Organa's should never, ever be able to be free of suspicions from the Empire for being Jedi sympathizers and potential insurrectionists.

Remember, it was Kathleen Kennedy who threw out the original scripts (probably what Stanton was being credited for) and IIRC, SHE re-wrote them. So the baby Leia and all of the stupid crap is from her. Another win from Spielberg's coffee fetcher.

"The Adventures of Leia" is spot on

Reva should take villain notes from Moff Gideon. 😆 Giancarlo’s Gideon has a poetic quality to him imho, he knows quite a bit of some serious psy-ops. He may know everything, he may not, but he does make one believe he does. There’s nuance there. No one complained about his skin color lol. He’s a villain a “good guy” might jump the line for because he seems like he knows what he’s doing. Hopefully this fleshing out gets more consistent in Mando season 3.

Chris is spot on, the show had the opportunity to show flashbacks from anakin and obiwan during the clone wars. It would have been great to see that relation revisited since it was glossed across in the live action prequels but done very well in the animated series. Show us a younger anakin in clone armor with obiwan and then cut to the older two remembering the relationship. The show also does a terrible job of setup and payoff. Obiwan never uses the saber for the first two episodes but when he finally does he uses it like a flashlight. Really? Same thing with the fight between Vader and Obi.

“Boy, you said it Chewie.” You guys are spot on. You mentioned a screenwriter who wrote some Pixar movies wrote the last 2 episodes. Do you think they saw early on on paper that this show was not going to work and brought someone in to fix the last 2? Why not rewrite all of it then? Or was this just a happy accident (we hope since we haven’t seen those final 2 yet)?

Why aren’t all of these Star Wars projects passed around and reviewed by several screenwriters who can give feedback? This is Lucasfilm. This is Disney. There is no lack of resources.

If people keep spending money on star wars merch or paying for Disney + nothing is going to change.

My biggest gripe with this show among many is that Hayden has hardly any screen time and there’s only 2 episodes left. Why even bring him back?

A padawan peers around the corner for her younglings and sees General Skywalker enter the next room. Their eyes meet for a moment: _they flash crimson and yellow._ The padawan gasps, paralyzed in fear. The gaze lingers for what seems an eternity before he turns to troopers behind him,
"SOP says nothing about younglings - or padawans - sir?"
"Secure the stairwells and hold position. I want a sitrep on the Library when I return."
"At once, gen- ... Lord Vader--"

Faintly from the next room, "Master Skywalker, there's too many of them ..."

_The slaughter begins._

Reva gathers her younglings and makes for a service elevator. If they can find civilian clothing, maybe they can disappear in the lower levels of the city. Madness and rage erupt like a volcano within her, tearing through 501st troopers they encounter like a scythe-- but not all of the younglings are fast enough. More and more are picked off, wounded, or fall behind, frozen in fear. Before long, the brave, the cowards, and the lucky are all that are left, not even a handful . . .

[INT. A time later, nearer dawn. The sounds of fighting are dying down in the ruined Jedi temple, now stinking of death.]

"We have some holdouts in the lower levels, sir."
"What's the delay, trooper?"
"Their position is too strong, and we've wasted too many men. We could use your ... expertise, sir ..."
"How many? Knights or Masters?"
"We're ... not sure. Several platoons attempting to breech the position never returned; we've lost comms for--"

[INT. Lower levels of the Temple. Blue and red emergency lighting.]

Behind a barricade, a padawan in a sanitation crew jumpsuit lies wounded or dead from many blaster burn marks and vibro blade cuts. Clone troopers litter the floor in mangled, bloodied piles, some flung up into recesses in the walls and ceiling lights, where tendrils of scorches blacken the wall. 501st scanning the area behind Vader speak their unease on private channels. Several crumpled youngling bodies are identified and reported.

"Got a live one, Commander!" Severely wounded, shallow breathing. The youngling will succumb to his wounds regardless.

"A pity. The Empire needs warriors." He unsheathes his red blade, illuminating this stained tomb of Jedi and Clones.

A rough looking clone trooper missing his helmet from the breech teams steps up, "With your permission sir? I lost all of my brothers ..."
"Very well."

Playing dead, Reva looses a short bolt of lightening on the trooper sending him crashing into a group of clones behind him, transferring the shock. Her right arm too damaged or pinned under debris and bodies, she attempts to send a second against the towering black figure before her, only to be absorbed by a negligently raised red blade. She exhausts herself in the effort

[POV REVA. Slowly passing out, final images of Vader's red blade and force pushing hundreds of pounds of flesh and debris off her in a crash.]

[INT. MEDBAY. Cybernetic arm being installed to replace her amputated right arm up to the shoulder.]

Reva awakens groggily, then angrily ...

Booming metallic voice echoes through the tiled sterile space:
_"Still alive? Padawan [her true name]"..._

Reva murmurs without understanding.

"You owe your life to the dark side, fighting down there. Disavow the Jedi and their treasonous ways; join me and help forge a New Order for the galaxy."

"Not much of a choice ... Why didn't you just kill me ..."

"Most of the masters I slayed last night died first of despair. They saw their end coming, and relented. Yet even now you defy me. If you still want to live, it will be in service to the Emperor; and if you want to train in the Force, it will be on the path of the dark side."

"I choose life ... I'm in no condition to settle the matter honorably as it is, General Skywalker, or I just might oblige you ..."

"You choose death should you address me as anything other than Lord Vader for this moment on, _Inquisitor Reva._ Report to the imperial palace at once to begin your training in the new ways, and await my return from Mustafar. Unfinished business beckons—"

[Imperial Theme, hauntingly. Reva looks on resigned, but determined to find out what all this means.]

The Galaxy is supposed to be large. This insistence in going back again and again to the same time frame and to the same characters only makes it feel rather small, instead.
