That's a lot of cancer for one person's life. I can't imagine losing your mother while young, and then starting a life, going to school, and becoming a mother and then finding out your young husband has cancer as well.

seems like some people in this comments section don't seem to be aware that the newspapers usually have this stuff prepared in advance when it comes to well known public figures

Rest in peace to this extremely strong, intelligent, and beautiful woman. She did so much for the US. We needed her, and now, unfortunately, she is gone, and she will be missed.

Why does she remind me of Professor McGonagall

I knew she would have to one day go, but I didn’t want it to be so. She was the most valuable player in this country for women. But she served her life’s purpose and it is now time for her to rest - peacefully. She is a legend.

"A senator announced with great glee that I was going to be dead within six months. That senator, whose name I've forgotten, is now himself dead." *mischievous laughter*. I AM SCREAMING

I'm a conservative, but RBG was a remarkable woman. No matter your political stance, you have to admit how much impact RBG had on the country.

Today we mourn, but with confidence that future generations will remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg as we all knew her — a tireless and resolute champion of justice.

I have to say even though I disagreed with some of her decisions. I respect her she has achieved so much as a woman. To be selected to be on the supreme court is a high honor for any judge and she earned it by her hard work. She has paved the way for many up and coming young women in our society. She entered the big boys club and didn't back down on her stance
