Roblox's The Haunt Somehow Got Worse

New updates have made Roblox's Halloween event The Haunt worse than it already was.

i found out this event dropped from people wearing "THE HAUNT SUCKS" shirts in all the games for screenshots.

If Roblox is going to do a Christmas event, here are some things I like to see!

-Call it anything but The [Something]. Some variations will help it stand out. Ex: "The Snowstorm of Northside!"
-If they're going to do a dev hunt, then I would like to see a story built on these games; each game holding a piece of a full story onto the lore of the event.
-Don't include games that are known to have negative reception. If, for example, Blade Ball has been continuously panned by the community during the past events, then it's best not to include it and give its spot to another game.

The Hunt - supposed "egg hunt"

The classic - nostalgia bait actually worked for once (lobby is great)

The games - glorified popularity contest

The haunt - why is this event a "dev hunt"? could be all inside the main game.

This feels like it was supposed to be more than it is but roblox just went "Nah, we need to promote our feature that no one cares about!"
I think this feeling is further supported by the fact that some games (like pressure) made entire event sections specifically for this event and essentially got bailed on last minute.

I really love how roblox classic was actually fun, even tho the boss at the end was meh, still it was just a blast and I sometimes go there cuz it's just nice seeing the old stuff even tho I'm from 2021 I started

As more events unfold, it's becoming increasingly frustrating. All I want is for the egg hunts and in-game hunts, like those from 2017 and 2018, to return. However, it seems they prefer to focus on investors, even though Roblox has been misleading them.

Edit: I forgot to mention that if you compare The Hunt, The Classic, The Games, and The Haunt, their visits are getting less and less, and it's a copy-and-paste.

This event sucks… it is sad because the lobby actually looked good. And there was a countdown… for what? I feel bad for all games that participated that put in effort for their event only for this to happen

ppl complained about the lack of items recieved despite earning all the required badges from playing all 100 games... they decided to just remove the grinding and instead just give the items for free.. that was not wat ppl meant, we just wanted a fun experience, mulitplayer based stuff arent usually fun when ppl r friendless and in the case of this event, too broke to afford a lot of spooky items.

It amazes me how we went from the Classic earlier this year, a surprisingly decent event with some flaws to iron out, to this, the physical embodiment of disappointment and the proof Roblox doesn't care about feedback despite constantly asking for it.
Half the pictures to vote on aren't even avatars and it's clear Roblox has a massive communication issue as pointed out by the Pressure devs pouring hours into the Raveyard, only for Roblox to make the event a costume contest with abysmal quality control on submissions.
