The Haryana election has provided significant signals from the two tallest leaders of the two biggest parties in India, Narendra Modi of the BJP and Rahul Gandhi of the Congress. The election results have shown that the Modi-led BJP is capable of winning a lost cause election, while Rahul Gandhi's momentum appears to have been a fragile house of cards. The BJP was able to bounce back from the Lok Sabha setback under Modi's leadership, while the Congress party under Rahul Gandhi has shown signs of complacency.
