As a gay, I don’t feel like I’m at the top at all, I feel respected more definitely by society, but not by the community which I’m no way a part of anymore. These comments were not what I was expecting 💀 I very much agree with the idea that some people are given more of a voice.
Though with in every social group there’s always going to be someone at the top, and someone at the bottom. Unfortunately that is nature, go look at any “pack” of animals. There will be a “leader” (who is the strongest) and the “runt”.
Though with humans it’s not about who’s the strongest that matters, but how they look or act or even there wealth that determines there status.

Equity presuppposes an innate inequality. Its actually interesting because sometimes it seems like you get more permission to be outspoken with each oppression.
