The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. Power off or reset the virtual machine. I keep getting this message when I power on the machine. My CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 5600

If you're getting the "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system" error when playing the VM:

1. Go to the the folder where you installed the VM (Whatever your "Location" was at 2:05) and look for a file that ends in ".vmx" (its type should be "VMWare virtual machine configuration").

2. Right click and open with Notepad.

3. Scroll all the way to the bottom, press enter to start a new line, and paste this in:
smc.version = "0"
cpuid.0.eax =
cpuid.0.ebx =
cpuid.0.ecx =
cpuid.0.edx =
cpuid.1.eax =
cpuid.1.ebx =
cpuid.1.ecx =
cpuid.1.edx =

4. Save and exit. It should now work!
